Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 SP XR Di II VC (Vibration Compensation) for Canon (Test)

Okay.  Over the weekend I headed to Unique Photo to rent a few lenses.  I've never used a Tamron lense before and decided to see how well it worked on my canon body(camera).  I have to admit, the focusing on it was good, but did miss at times. I found myself having a lot more ease in manual mode.  On manual, the lense did capture some nice crisp, sharp images.  The video quality with the vibration compensation was extremely suprising! The color and image quality was very L-series(lol).  The lense was light weight and easy to lug around.  Clean sharp and fast(at times) Overall, the Tamron is a lense that I would definitely use again and possibly buy in the near future.  Here are some test shots.
